To answer your question, I believe Longhorn is written in the same languages as Windows XP and the whole NT family of OS'es...C++, ASM, and I believe there is some Perl in there somewhere...

FAT64 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I think Windows has been written in a mixture of Assembler, compiled Pascal, C, C++ and now C#.
