PriZm77 Posted October 27, 2001 Posted October 27, 2001 When the WinXP Firewall is turned on, I cannot transfer files on icq, send or recieve that is.Anyone know what I can enter in the Advanced settings to get around this?
k22 Posted October 31, 2001 Posted October 31, 2001 just a guess but worth a try since no1 else responded...1. go to control panel2. network connections3. right-click your connection, choose properties4. advanced tab, settings... button (bottom right)5. add a service, call it ICQ, address login.icq.com, port 5190 TCP
