I built a computer (xp3200+, MSI KT600 MB, 160gb SATA, 512mb DDR pc3200) for a mate, who uses AOL 9.0 on XP PRO, while he was using it surfing the net, it laughed at him with this really deep laughing noise, now I read somewhere on here once that it was associated with AIM, but cannot seem to find the post.

Is this true? if so how can I stop it? or am I going mad??

if it wasent dialup i would tell him to get a decent firewall. i have no clue mabe it is a buddy alert

haha dude thats scary. Just have AIM running and surfing the net and then have a deep voice laugh at your. I would wet my pants.
