Whats a good program where once ive installed my op system and other 3rd party programs i can make a backup of it all including the registry (not to concerned about my documents) so if anything goes wrong i just -lets say - copy and paste this over to my c: drive and hey presto its back running fast as it was when i originally made this backup?

Howdy,

I use Casper XP, you'll have to install another ide drive that close in size to your main drive. This program let's you backup your entire hard drive to the extra hard drive within Windows! No dos disks or boot cd's. How do I know it works?

I accidently unplugged one of my sata raid /0 drives while inside the case. After the warning message that raid wasn't functional, it found my spare ide drive and booted from that. Since it make an exact clone of everything, I was able to get the work done I needed, power off, and reconnect and rebuild the raid array.

5 Stars imho!

Look at it here: Future Systems

I would recommend you Acronis True Image, I'm very satisfied with it :thumbup
