DigeratiPrime Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I think the professor, probably under a bit of stress or something, is giving an honest and imo somewhat accurate analysis of LOTR. and Ive had worse profs, ugh the memories...why post that mp3, the video there is far funnier:http://www.drunkdwarves.com/movies/ogre.wmv
Crispy Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Hehe, well, as an answer to the orginal question; no, the professor is not sa nutty as he sounds; all people who teach at a higher learning insitution end up like that sooner or later ...
mark Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Having spent a short period of time in college, I found the 'nuttier' professors to have classes that were more enjoyable. They usually got their message across whether you agreed or not, their lectures were more interesting, it made learning the subject easier because it kept your attention and you end up getting better grades. One of the wackiest professors I had had the largest class on campus, it was double the size of any other, it was one of the more difficult classes and it was one of the classes I made the best grades in. Outside of the ones that are total lunatics, professors that actually enjoy their own subjects are the ones that have the likelyhood of trying to get the message across and will use extra measures to teach. Appreciate the nutty ones.DL
