mailtome Posted February 10, 2005 Share Posted February 10, 2005 Hai,I want to connect my laptop from the office at my local network.I don't have to connect to workgroups or domains, i just want to retreive a ipadres from my dhcp router.I can't get it to work. If i connect my laptop to the network at the office it get's an IP without any problems.Our Operator doesn't understand it and says that my dhcp server doesn't function.But al my other (XP) machine's works well and i've got enough room left on my leasetable,Please Help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Br4tt3 Posted February 18, 2005 Share Posted February 18, 2005 whenever the ordinary troubbleshooting ends cuz there are no more logic options to try.... upgrade the firmware / BIOS of the devices and try again... could be some wiered incompatible issue...
