yesterday I discovered strange. if you put "... /KERNEL=BIOHAZARD.EXE" in boot.ini you just see the original winxp bootscreen. if you change the name you'll see the manipulated ntoskrnl.

i use Home Edition with SP2 German (2180)

by the way it exist a virus names biohazard.

edit: excuse me i want to put in "editing boot.ini"

adding /kernel=filename tells windows 2 use an alternate kernel (another ntoskrnl file)
