WinPE/BartPE for remote desktop only

is there a way to build a WinPE/BartPE ISO that will auto launch remote desktop connection when booted. this would be great for building thin clients without WinCE. so i wouldn't need anything other than RDC and networking/DHCP.java script:emoticon('')

With WinPE this is specifically forbidden by the EULA...

There is a way with WinPE 2004+ to launch any program you want easily, winpeshl.ini, secondly you only need 2 files for RDP to work in PE.

seriously? u can't use WinPE as a terminal client? what the **%$% lol. i've never tried, but now the thought sounds interesting, and it's "illegal". that would be sooo usefull to do that.

Some of the linux live cds (Knoppix?) have remote desktop clients that support the RDP protocol. You could always use one of those.

Have you seen the PXES "Thin client self-booting remote administration" CD available from http://pxes.sourceforge.net/ ? Boots to various thin client sessions; MS remote desktop, Linux server remote sessions, VNC, Citrix, & telnet.

Works great.
