Tinywoods Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 All,When I install the latest Shockwave, Yahoo toolbar also installed. How can I avoid to install the cheap toolbar? I do not like Yahoo !!\Shockwave_Installer_FullJ.exe /s
1chaoticadult Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 If you have shockwave still installed, just sfx the files np32dsw.dll & ShockwavePlugin.class and thats all you need if you have and use Netscape, Firefox or Mozilla browsers. If you have use IE, can't help you there because I don't use it.
Tinywoods Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 Hi, 1chaoticadultI did not know that. I'll try. ThanksTinywoods

oioldman Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 How and What do i do with thos files once i have them to make shockwave actually work?guessing i regsrv32 the .dll, but what about the other?
Achdine Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Don't register the .dll. Just copy the files to "%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\" if you use Firefox, or the similar path if you use SeaMonkey (formerly the Mozilla Suite). The browser will automatically recognize it.
oioldman Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 "C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Common\unyt.exe" /swill silently un-install the yahoo toolbar, in case the above method doesn't work, though no reason why not
