sven Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 i ran the shareaza port setting thing that chesck your ports, i have no problem with ud, but a big one with tcp. i have teh windows firewall disabled, and my router has port forwarding on. it says the port is closed. it works if i check it with localhost. i put my computer as a DMZ and its still closed... i have no idea whats doing this in my computer.windows xp home sp2d-link 604 routerthanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

XtremeMaC Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 hmm seems right what about shareaza? did u set the connection port to 6346? also maybe, i highly doubt so but maybe your isp blocked it or something i dunno u can always put another port in there, i don't have problem with shareaza but with torrent & azureus some servers don't accept the default 6881 port so i've changed it.. so u can always change the incoming port... sven Posted January 27, 2005 Author Share Posted January 27, 2005 i had tried the changed port.. it was on 8008 before and i noticed tcp were closed also.... the thing is, when my router doesn't have the forwarding on, the port gives "stealth", but with forwarding, its closed... it cant be the router...
