sanjaykumar Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I saw a software that can be used together with unattanded install to select softwares that needs to be installed. I tried using the search function but didnt get what i was looking for. does any one knows what the name of the tool is?
Cartoonite Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 There are actually quite a few options, sanjaykumar. Unfortunately the description you gave fits just about every single one of them, so there's really no way for us to figure out which one you are referring to.
tjhart85 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 If you go back to the main[/url ]part of the forum, go down to "Member Contributed Projects", you will notice that most of the programs listed there will do exactly what you want! I suggest looking through the sticky's on each of the programs and seeing which is best for you.I've heard good things about WPI, I personally prefer WIHU, just go and see which one looks best to you!
Astalavista Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 check this outhttp://img2.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc...e=f42_Snap1.gif
Cartoonite Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Very pretty screenshot there asta. Could you maybe give some indication of which post-install program it is taken from?
Astalavista Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 wpi method that is the trade mark look.that was taken about a month ago.
sanjaykumar Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 thanks for letting me know about the WPI method. it was not i was looking for but i guess its description tells that i've been looking for something in similar lines.soi will give it a try. dont have too many sofwares to install though, just a couple of softwares and some oem stuffs
Girkers Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 sanjaykumar,I have used WIHU originally and it was very functional and then I thought that other people will be seeing this, so I decided to move to WPI.As it is based on HTML and CSS I am able to modify the code myself and thus get the look I want. It can also be used from an autorun CD, so if you just want to install an application - click the button.
