Br4tt3 Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 HiFind it abit tedious to extract a whole .cab to remove one file (or smth) and the put it back in a .cab...Any1 know an app for that purpose? tried just about everything but they just dont let u delete / add a file into a cab without repackage it again.
Br4tt3 Posted January 20, 2005 Author Posted January 20, 2005 Hmm... then again I have to extract all / remove the file and cab all tha remaining files back again... unless I am totally wrong. Tried cabarc.exe aswell... downloaded the winzip and winrar latest version, didnt work for me though...

prathapml Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 PowerArchiver can extract as well compress to CAB. No other "biggie" compressor app does it.And for InstallShield compressed CABs, there's a utility by name "i6comp.exe" - google to get it.
