authentication network login

hi! gud day!!! to all hir specially to the administrator!!

pardon me! for my ignorance

i just want to know how to authentication everytime i login to my

network host name specially when i try to login like //host/c$

then it will ask for a username and password to login how do i setup like that can somebody give me an idea how to!? pls!

Hi,

when you try to map and admin share as \\host\c$ it will ask you for username and password of an admin user of a computer you're trying to map a admin share from. So if you're want to map a C drive on PC1 onto PC2 then you will need a username and password of an admin user of PC1. Hope this helps.
