just out of curiosity, does the rest of the Unattended process work?

did you rename the file before uploading?

If not, remove the .TXT extension at the end, and try again.

This may be your problem:

Go to My Computer -> Click Tools At the top -> Folder Options -> Tab "View" -> Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" -> Apply, Ok

This is to make sure your file is simply not named winnt.sif.txt (because the .txt would take over the sif extension thus your problem would occur. But this is definetly not the problem if the rest is unattended. In which case, is hard to tell because OEMPreinstall is set to Yes.

i cant remove txt because its the extension , so i still have no solution.

anyone an idea ?

you HAVE to change the extension. SIMPLY NAME IT WINNT.SIF . REMOVE THE TXT EXTENSION. If you get a prompt about changing the file extension, just press YES and continue.

:} Wow ummm dont know what else to say. Like myself and Alanoll said, you must change it, its not an option, and it shouldnt be restricted. If it says you cant change it because its in use or something, make sure its closed first or restart your computer.
