i dont have an xp cd or any others and i dunno anyone else that has one and i dont wanna waste money on one, anyways i think i got it solved, my adaware SE was corrupted and i reinstalled it and did a scan and it fixed my problem, i only restarted it once so i dunno if i restart it again it will work. hopefully it will ill check tomorrow.

I would say just reinstall windows. I dont see any other solution! <_<

You can probably get an upgrade for XP. Those are alot cheaper then buying the whole thing. Or if you in college which i dont know if you are or not but usally you can get discounts on things like that from your college! ;)

im not in college or even near college lol, and i got the error again >.<. i have someone i can borrow an XP cd from but i rarely see him and plus i dont feel like reinstalling my programs that i have all over again. Its a pain in the @$$.

I have an XP cd that i have tho but im afraid to use it since the last time i installed XP on this comp it said i have to register and if i didnt it would disable within 30 days. and it wouldnt let me connect thru the internet.

I Cant Find M& Antispyware on google or yahoo can someone give me a link? also, like i said what if i reinstall windows and it doesnt fix the problem because my last computer had a problem where it took so long to load up the computer and the part where it says "Windows XP Pro" and had that loading bar and when i reinstalled it, it didnt fix the problem.

the boot screen is normal with sp2 [so there is no pro txt on the screen]

Gah ms antispyware didnt work, by the way im using sp1, do any of you think a repair off the XP cd would work?
