Sidekicks Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Try to hit ctrl+alt+delete... bring up the task manager and then goto File.. and run EXPLORER. That should do the trick..enough to get you going and troubleshoot.A-
ripken204 Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 do u have to login when you start up the computer? if not make it so that you do, b/c if ur saying that you have to logoff then log back on to make it work, then this might work

N1K Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Please post information on what this registry keys contain:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunHKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runandwhat's in the startup folder:C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartupAccording to this problem i suspect that maybe you have a startup script in local computer policy which applies only with starting/restarting the computer and not with logoff/logon...Very strange indeed..
