I don't understand why the integrated rollup won't be installed.

i integrated it like:

than.. i tried to install it twice with xplode (same installation)

in Applications there's no Update roll pack... (i checked at the top that update thing)

in a third installation (manuel) after installtion... with /quiet /norestart

i works...

KB888316.exe also weren't installed but integrated (i will install twice with xplode i think that will work)

i know that i have to choose one for integration KB885523.exe or KB885894.exe

but why? does anyone know where the problem is?

Isn't the command /integrate instead of -integrate? Or is there no difference?

and update.exe says allways succsessfull integratet.

ive had no luck getting this slipstreamed either.

for now im using runonceex.

where did you guys get the update?

i got it from windowsupdate v5 or windowsupdate v4 windows catalog.

- i will also use runonce... for the 2 updates

i know the failure...

in logfile there a line...

"Return Value From IsMediaCenterPc = 0"

i think in T-13 windows issnt Media Center, Only Professional and the Update.exe won't install

but why does MS support integrate if it doesn't work *rollingeyes*

problem brief

in unattend install windows xp media center 2005 CD2 not request.

problem description:

i create unattend.bat and unattend.txt by setupmgr in deploy.cab

i runing unattend.bat

setup started and den copy file in harddisk den system restart and go to dos mode den

i select disk drive too instal. setup continue to restart and go to graphic mode

installing device completed , installing network completed , in this time system

must request windows xp media center 2005 CD2 . not request this command .

setup continue to installing start menu item den registering component den saving

seting den system restarted .

now system started and run windowsXP media center

start menu is a empty and another program not installed.

The update rollup1 must be installed either thru runonceex.cmd or guirunonce

of WINNT.SIF because 'windows' hasnt become 'media center' yet

at the time hotfixes are installed.

It installs fine thru either of the above methods.

my friend sayed : ought edit "DOSNET.INF" in i386 directory.

i opened dosnet.inf and edited thats.

Edit description:

i edited all parameter "d2,d3,d4 to d1" (i think"d1=disk1")

before edit :

i open image in winIso and transfered contents folder in CD2 (cmpnents) to cd root.

and i replace new dosnet.inf to i386 folder.

and i burning thats image to cd.

and displayed this key:

this file exist in "cd\cmpnents\tabletpc\i386\inkball.ex_"

and setup not found that.

i understand setup is searching in "CD\i386\inkball.ex_"

now i Transferred all file in

folders to cd\i386\...

but "mediactr.cab & plus.cab & sonic.cab &..." not copyed in $win_nt~is$ .

system restarted and goed to other stage.

setup completeed.

but mediacenter & other program not instaled.

i View "layout.inf"

whether this file not ought edited ?
