Glenn Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 ok updated my win98 (now se)a few days ago and now when you shut it down, it just stops in the (Windows is now shuting down) screen and locks up. i have to just turn it offby disconecting the surge protecter. i have run all the trojan removers, spyware, bots, viruses etc, but no help. any ideas????????//

azagahl Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I have a clean Win 98 SE install with SP 2.0b2 and it still only shuts down properly half the time.I'm going to start flipping a coin to see if there is any correlation.
