  1. Win 98 shutdown Incomplete

    ok updated my win98 (now se)a few days ago and now when you shut it down, it just stops in the (Windows is now shuting down) screen and locks up. i have to just turn it off by disconecting the surge protecter. i have run all the trojan removers, spyware, bots, viruses etc, but no help. any ideas????????//

    Ok i started to load xp onto my win98 computor but backed out. now when i turn my computor on it stops and ask's which operating system i want to boot up, xp or win98, how do you get rid of this message??? i tryed putting the xp disk back in and uninstalling all but no way. anyone got an idea. thanks
