Every time my computer boots up I get this message:

-------------------------------------------------------

16 BIT WINDOWS SUB-SYSTEM

C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

--------------------------------------------------------

Any clues as to how to remove this?

Copy Autoexec.nt file from your i386 folder to the desktop

Use Winzip to expand it.

Move it to your System32 folder.

It's not in that folder! Is that a worry?

i work at a helpdesk for PSEG. i seen this happen on computers before. i believe it is spyware related. those asses are getting smarter. their software deletes these files on boot, so other programs can't be installed to remove the spyware.
