XPero Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Maybe explorer.exe? and please do NOT doublepost EDIT: Sorry it is not in explorer.exe...gonna try to find it now.. EDIT 2:Ok, look into shell32.dll --> dialog 8226
Spark Posted December 18, 2004 Author Posted December 18, 2004 Jep double post was bad sorry! I have tryed that. Doesn't seem to be that either. I Modded the dialog text so that it should display "Shut Down Windows!!!" but it was just the regular "Shut Down Windows" Is it possible that it would load the text from string table? just an thought since if it dont then there would be the following text under the listbox."Maintains your session, keeping the computer running on low power with data still in memory. The computer wakes up when you press a key or move the mouse."EDIT: Found it in msgina Dialog 2200. Doesn't look anythin like that
prathapml Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Or look in winlogon.exe...And I got to say here, that any changes you make and save would not be used. Because of the SystemFileProtection, and restore features of XP.
ev0_05 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 You can modyfy this 1from the shell32bg bmp is1435114353to14356
SiMoNsAyS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 are all the icons in shell32.dll too?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>if you mean those used on the dialog, they're not icons, are bmp resources from 14353to 14356.if you mean the rest of icons on windows, most of them are there, the rest are around dlls on system32, mshtml.dll, shdocvw.dll... those are some of them
