jaclaz Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Set (if not already so) explorer to show hidden files. In the root driectory of your C: drive you'll find a file called boot.ini.Usually it is read only, change it to read/write, then open it in notepad. You'll find something like:[boot Loader]Timeout=5Default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT[Operating Systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional IT" /fastdetectC:\win98.dat="Windows 98 SE"Edit it so that Timeout = 0 (the default operating system will load with 0 seconds delay)make sure that Deafult equals to the OS you wish to boot)jaclaz
tarquel Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Also worth mentioning here is that if you arent careful in yor editing, you can rendered the whole thing unbootable which may or may not be fixable (dependant on your skills).Just a friendly note so edit carefully Regards,N.
