f0rbez Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 I have a Belkin 1200VA. Originally got an 800VA which wasn't enough to power my pc and monitor at the same time.Overall, its been very good. I haven't had any problems at all with it. I believe it has 6-8 outlets. Most are on the battery and a few others are on just a surge protector. So I just put devices that I don't really need to have constant power on (printer, ect). Its also got an ethernet surge protector.Sorry I can't give you definate specs for it. Its extremely heavy and I'm a bit lazy Anyway, it claims to give me 45 minutes of battery time, although I haven't really needed it for more than a few minutes.Oh.. only complaint is that it seems that the front panel isn't attached very well. When I was setting it up, it seemed loose.. just have to make sure not to give it a jerk or itll be in your hands. After RMA'ing it, I realized that it must just be a defect on all models.
XtremeMaC Posted December 10, 2004 Author Posted December 10, 2004 thanks i'll check belkin, i know they're working on all types of hardware, but dunno if they're among the best ones..
DigeratiPrime Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 belkin always has a coupon code on their site for 50% off. Coupon Code: 12345Seriously It may help. Although I usually pick them up at sales at OfficeMax, Staples, and BestBuy.
