prathapml Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Does anyone have a complete offline-readable version of gosh's guide ?Has anyone made either PDF or has a html mirror of the site? Because the site is very informative indeed, plus he says that site is finished - no more updatesThe site I'm talking about, is this - http://gosh.msfnhosting.com
XtremeMaC Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 hi thereI couldn't understand why u need a mirror for that site? its working...I haven't seen any pdf's but if u want to browse his webpage offline u can try one of these programs to dl his whole site and offline browse.teleport pro, metaproducts offline explorerthere are many others, i use offline explorer...ow be aware, u've to configure them properly or u'll dl the whole internet
prathapml Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 Its working, but my connection is the one not working all the time. So I needed an offline version.Anyways, that's what I ended up doing. Used Offline Explorer to dl the entire thing. But the Java-script menu is not working (offline) now...
gamehead200 Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I've memorized the whole guide by now... I've made multi-boot CDs so many times by now that I must have read that guide about 10 or 15 times... Now its just stuck in my head!
XtremeMaC Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 u can enable the offline explore to dl the java script stuff as well if thats your problemanyways i'll try to dl it and zip it rar it. i dunno when i'll do this, i'm pretty busy right now..

Now its just stuck in my head! lol, right. But I bet not all of the INF stuff in gosh's pages is readily recall-able.Oh well, I guess we just need a surfeit of trigger-happy PDF-dudes. Because there's so much of pages and so little of it readily formatted in such a way as to read offline. (forget about the forum - forum pages are far cooler with the ability to "print topic") B) But the guides.... I think I'll ask alanoll to format the new uA guide so as to be easily "offline"able.
Alanoll Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 But I bet not all of the INF stuff in gosh's pages is readily recall-able.I bet to differ....As for the printablility, man you like them things offline don't ya?
