tgjb007 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Does anyone have a method for silent install of Fruity Loops Studio 5...?I've been tryin to figure this out for hours. Also, I've noticed that this is a NullSoft installer that first extractsa large .tmp file and then installs off that, but I can't access this filebecause whenever I try I get a sharing violation because the installeris using it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,-- TG
1chaoticadult Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Nullsoft Installer uses the switch /S. Next time search for nullsoft installer first.
tgjb007 Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 I've tried using the /s switch. It doesn't work. The thing is the executable extracts to a huge (104 mb)temp file first with a folder of images and .dll filesand then it installs from that. However, I can't access the temp file as I stated in myprevious post.Anyone got an idea...?-- TG

dawson Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 i used the /S switch and it worked fine, however, when trying to change thedefault directory, that brought me up trumps.does anyone know of a way to change this?
1chaoticadult Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 @DawsonYou can't change the directory because they probably disabled it. Also the /S switch worked for me also.
