this happens to me also - using a Logitech Media Keyboard, does your keyboard have F-Functions? like copy and suck on the F-Keys, if so, look around your keyboard for an f lock modifier. this changes it between standard f key functions and the copy paste functions of the keyboard. It normally happens after a windows installation also. Steve

now, i couldn't find anything like this by using search, but.. i'm making a dvd with XP on it.. and it RunOnceEx's a few programs.. but on this dvd i have all the other programs i use, which i've designed a menu for.. now the question is. can i use an autorun.inf on the cd, alongside the xp bootable? would there be a conflict between the autorun.inf and the xp menu? i have nlited the cd to get rid of the useless stuff.. would that bear an effect? cheers steve

check your drive seetings in your BIOS aren't on some stupid setting.. a lot of OEM manufacturers do this to stop you re-installing the OS by yourself.. and making you take it back to them.. It might not be the solution, or it might but its a shot Dawson

virtualPC uses virtual hdd's... (ironic ) try it out and you'll see

i'm writing an autoit script for it.. if anyone wants gimme a shout. Jus tell me what you want the program to install.. i'll leave editable variables for the location of the files

i used the /S switch and it worked fine, however, when trying to change thedefault directory, that brought me up trumps. does anyone know of a way to change this?
