likuidkewl
I have never seen that boot screen for PE, but the normal " Loading Windows Preinstallation Enviroment " screen can be changed in the txtsetup.sif file.

JPE
the normal " Loading Windows Preinstallation Enviroment " screen can be changed in the txtsetup.sif file.I just tried that and it didn't change it. Is there anywhere else that string is saved?-JPE
likuidkewl
You need to do it after you build your CD I use the temp dir. And then edit the txtsetup.sif there.
jawwen
The better way (IMHO) is to change it in the config.inf file before building the winpe image (mkimg.cmd) rather than changing default windows installation files...the mkimg.cmd command (or bldhives.exe more correctly) are using the inf-files when compiling the winpe registry.regardsJohan
likuidkewl
Don't agree with you on that, due to the fact if you do so it is unsupported by microsoft and they inform you in the OEM website to use a temp dir and the oscdimg.
