Could you please post the part of the code, Windows PE just lacks of some the security models that Windows XP has and that is normally causing this kind of error when using certain function in HTA pages.

The better way (IMHO) is to change it in the config.inf file before building the winpe image (mkimg.cmd) rather than changing default windows installation files... the mkimg.cmd command (or bldhives.exe more correctly) are using the inf-files when compiling the winpe registry. regards Johan

Make sure you are using Windows PE 2004 and that you "loose focus" on the cd drive letter before swapping the cd. eg, cd into either the cd root or to another drive letter (ramdisk or harddisk) The /inram switch doesnt work correctly with older versions of Windows PE. Regards Johan
