hum.. not sure you are in the right forum ... anyway here it goes:

you have to enter the BIOS of your virtual machine by pressing F2 at startup and then make sure your CDROM is the first boot device.

Hello,

I think that this is OK because I boot on my iso file, I think that the problem cames from the iso file, I don't how to make it really bootable, maybe I have missed one or more files

Hello,

Dynamite --> I have done this manipulation, same result (booting from iso loaded in daemon tool)

BritishBuldog---> I've made my iso with cd image pro from the msfn unantend website..

BUt I think that there is a problem with my iso file, do we need to add something in order to boot on it ?

For infos here is my xpcd root folder :

xpcd.jpg

My original xp cd is with sp1 integrated, and the original cd works... so maybe I've just missed to add a file to my xp cd unanttend

from the looks of your screenshot, you have not slipstreamed SP2 into it, as there is no .sp2 file, but a .sp1 file.

unattended CDs need SP2 to operate

Well, did you use the proper setting in nero with your boot sector?

EDIT: sorry, I just realised you are building an ISO image...

@Mekrel

There is no need to slipstream SP2 to operate an Unattended CD

Hello,

1 - Yes

2 - The structure of the ISO is like the screen that i have posted above

3 - In the cmd file I just have changed the path (d:\xpcd instead of c:\xpcd)
