FthrJACK Posted September 25, 2002 Share Posted September 25, 2002 On any build of media player i havent been able to watch streaming movies for ages, i just formatted and its still the same, i just get "connecting..." in the status bar all the time, yet i can watch streaming movies with quicktime or realplayer.i have a 1024/256 line so its not that either, i have to right click and "save target as.." to be able to watch stuff, anyone have any ideas? they play fine in IE media window. only thing i can think of is maybe firewall settings, tho i have removed all media players rules and re allowed them again as it asks to connect, or maybe its another players settings confusing it over which is the default player, i dunno...any ideas?
