Acer ships their laptops without WindowsXP Pro support? Atleast some of them?

    • Yes, they bundle it with WindowsXP Home that means you can't use Pro.

    • No, you must use their upgrade policy that always works from WindowsXP Home to Pro.

    • You must instal the right drivers from their website, if they don't work wait for other releases.

    • Never buy a laptop with WindowsXP Home support, if you do so, don't except they can run WindowsXP Pro. Atleast from Acer.

    • If you buy a Acer laptop with only WindowsXP Home support, you have big trouble if you try to get WLAN support for WindowsXP Pro!

What? Please explain what you are talking about and what it is you want us to comment/vote on.

Support regarding XP is from Microsoft, not Acer surely...lol :rolleyes:
