brucewong Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 Hi,one more funny,strange idea comes up to me,that i wanna personalize my own Norton Ghost inspired by Toshiba's Recovery CD shipped with Toshiba Notebook.What i want is put my own logo,or company logo on the Norton Ghost(Dos based one),With reskhacker is a headache,cuz it said it's not a 32bit app.so i cannot achevie this.Any help or ideas?Thanks in advance ,man! htc Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 for dos application there is no such gerneric tool like resource-hacker etc. Most menus/tables were hardcoded! You cannot change the look except you have the source code and can recompile it. So without the cooperation of symantec programmers you've got a lost case.Upto v8.05 there is a chance to change the splash picture at the beginning - the files with filename extension .pqg(=pqmagic.pqg) is in fat a .bmp file, so I see your only chance is to replace it with your own.
