Sanjay
Real Player creats 'Two' Internet Shortcuts on the Desktop, namely 'Free Games & Music' & 'RealRhapsody Get Free Music', is there a way to avoid these being created. In case the creation is unavoidable, is there a way to delete them via my start.cmd? I have tried deleting them like other shortcuts but that does not work. The following commands:DEL "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Desktop\*.lnk"DEL "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\*.lnk" are able to delete everything else on the desktop except the stupids Internet shortcuts created by Real Player. lilweirddude
are they .lnk files?
MHz
I think lilweirddude could be right. Internet shortcuts have the extention .url .
blinkdt
Yup. If you Right Click-->Properties the file you will see it described as an Internet shortcut with the correct path, but the .url extension does not show up as is the case with every other file I've seen. But it's there, so add it to your .cmd code and all should be well.
