rbianco
i've tried to create a simple RTF file with MS Word 2003, but it doesn't display on the right-pane of WIHU: it shows garbled characters instead.Maybe it's because of a non-standard implementation of RTF by Word2k3, i dunno... Which app do you suggest to write WIHU-compliant RTF files?
BenjaminKalytta
MS Word 2003 is ok, but please note, use UTF-8 or ANSI, no UNICODE characters. If this isn't the problem, please send me your rtf file.Benjamin
rbianco
OMG, now it's running! I got it:- BEFORE, i right-clicked -> New... -> MS Word document, and instantly renamed it to "help.rtf", and finally double-clicked it for editing. This does NOT create an RTF file, but a DOC file with RTF extension!- NOW, i opened Word, File -> New, edited, File -> Save as... -> RTF document.Everything OK.Thankyou! ZileXa
I am now creating an rtf file for each item... but only thing I get, if I select an item, is the titel of the rtf file... so for MSN messenger I created msn.rtf... now in the helpsection I only see:MSN Messengermsn.rtfWhat goes wrong?added the rtf file (it contains a picture but also without picture it doesn't work) and my ini. Also have an rtf for Skype... with a picture in it.. same problem, also without.I open Word XP, type 1 line of text and add a small picture, then save as RTF file. BenjaminKalytta
You have to use help.x not helptext.x. With helptext.x you may directly specify the helptext.Benjamin Kalytta
