Aviator747 Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I seen a mention that the Klite codec's will allow you to play QT & Real media content. I tried installing the codec to play Real media. I was able to play a streamed video file in IE. I then dl'd a *.ram file. I wasn't able to play it.So is it possible to do this with WMP10? I don't want to use some ancient verion of media player to play these file formats.QT & real have a REALLY bad habit of taking over playing file formats that you don't want them to use. Such as MP3's. I want Winamp not them to play that file type.
Aviator747 Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 I knew about these two. But, I didn't know you could install just the codec. The real media works perfectly. But, for the QT one I don't get any audio on *.mov files. The video is fine though.Any ideas?
studguy1 Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Did u try media player classic which comes bundled with it? Media player Classic seems to have no problem playing .ram & .mov files for me
