October 28, 200421 yr HelloI would like to hear your oppenions about the following firewalls:Smoothwall, Censornet, IPCop and m0n0wall/ZoRo
October 28, 200421 yr Of those four I'd say smoothwall is the best, it's secure, well built and has lots of add on modules. As for IPCop, well... you'd have a harder time getting into a packet of chips. In general remeber that their all based around a linux kernel so if you want to stay secure, update, update, update! One other solution is FREESCO, it's a small open source router / firewall that is lots of fun and very felxable. It's not up there with the big boys, but it's not bloated with junk either which makes it easier to secure, very effective in the right hands.
