I'm trying to hide the cdshell files on a multiboot-cd and therefore I need the -" exact byte-granular size"- of the created ISO file.

What does this mean, and how do I get it????

Anybody has an Idea???

" exact byte-granular size" = " exact size of you .iso file in byte"

"granular" here means that you should not take the kb or mb size of reported by windows explorer and caculate it by yourself... it should be size in bytes(under context menu "properties")

and how do you do this exactly? which program can do this (hide the cdshell files)?

at the cd shell homepage there is a guide/docs(in appendix) for this aspect.

But the author said it was outdated info, without detailed explaination(why?) I think it could be one of the following:

1. In makeisofs.exe you can specify some file via option parameters to hide them

or

2. This method may not work with the new version of cd shell.

I don't know if this works with CDShell but my project created with EasyBoot works perfectly!
