Is there any way to silently install Shockwave Player 10.1 without installing yahoo toolbar? the switch /S will install yahoo toolbar, pls help thanks!

Macromedia has posted a download that is an msi file which installs both Shockwave and Flash Players, without Yahoo. Just check their download area.

Here is the full installer of Macromedia Shockwave Player 10.1.0.11.

This is what I use to silent install it.

I'm sorry. I was just telling you where to download the full version, and my method of installing it silently. But I didn't say that it will remove the Yahoo toolbar.

is there a link to a download without yahoo and without flash...Ive got flash integrated into windows and dont really need an installer for that...I also dont want the stupid yahoo toolbar...can someone direct me to the right place?

you take swflash.inf and flash.ocx (or something like that) and replace the ones on the cd...it is in the Unattended Windows forum...do a search for swflash that should bring it up...or just flash.

I use this link http://www.macromedia.com/go/fl_sw_exe_installer which is an EXE installer for Flash and Shockwave. Doesn't seem to contain any Yahoo Toolbar.

run with: mm_fl_sw_installer.exe /S

The MSI only installs for IE, not for Firefox, the EXE does install (both Shockwave and Flash) for Firefox, but not Silent!

The /S doesnt work.... do get to see an installer tray icon but then I am asked to select language.... when I've selected language... it seems to proceed silently... but then I'm also asked to restart the system! not silent at all!

this is what I do to test it: Start>Run:

C:\mm_fl_sw_installer.exe /S ENTER

also tried Start>Run: CMD ENTER

and in the commandline:C:\>mm_fl_sw_installer.exe /S

How to install the EXE silent, really silent!?
