nataliaa Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Well i tried many posts here...but my problems are still surrounding me ,so allow me this post I m trying to make a multiboot dvd with raid drivers preinstalled.I have used Bâshrat the Sneaky 's driverspacks with both methods 1 & 2. The "installation" of drivers pack completes succesfully, with no error messages at the scripts. Then i move txtsetup.sif from its location to \SETUP\bla\bla to PRO1 dir(thats the boot folder for the OS). But when i try it the setup is halted the time that installs the oems driver packs which says: i cant find driver blabla.sys(actually the first driver it tries to load from the 3rd party ones)What i am missing???????????ps:the winnt.sif OEMs path points to "\setup\bla\bla\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\m;drivers\m;\drivers\m"
jbm Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Have you tried copying "blabla.sys" to the pro1 dir?I just got done creating a multible boot cd tonightand thats what I finally decided to try and it workedfor me. I'm using Green machines method, not sure wherethat fits with method 1 or 2.
nataliaa Posted October 24, 2004 Author Posted October 24, 2004 hmmThank you it workedΙt should be a better way to do this, but for now it satisfies me completelyThanks again!
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 According to your the topic start, you've used Method 1.Then this is correct: the winnt.sif OEMs path points to "\setup\bla\bla\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\m;drivers\m;\drivers\m"But as jbm said, you should also copy the *.sy_ files to the according I386 folder! (which is apparently PRO1 in this case..)Bâshrat the Sneaky
