Incroyable HULK Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Hello everyone, just wondering if someone know how to hide the content of our Unattended CDs...Recently, I burned a boot CD of Acronis Disk Director 9 and I noticed that I am unable to see the content of the CD in DOS and Windows... Seems like a great protection.
htc Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 It is not a great protection, it uses just a home-made file system other than the usual CDFS (patched cdfs by changing the attribute bit).
htc Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 By the way, you can use the floppy image of that:1. safemode boot disk: standard 2.88MB floppy image(bootable under all shell)or2. fulversion with usb support: 8MB-Superfloppy image (bootable only under bcdw/plugin)
Incroyable HULK Posted October 20, 2004 Author Posted October 20, 2004 2. fulversion with usb support: 8MB-Superfloppy image (bootable only under bcdw/plugin)I created a floppy image for the fullversion (5 floppy disk) and it works perfectly with EasyBoot. Can you explain to me what is the bcdw/plugin?It is not a great protection, it uses just a home-made file system other than the usual CDFS (patched cdfs by changing the attribute bit).It seems a good enought protection for me... is there a way for us to use that patched cdfs on our Unattended CDs?
htc Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I created a floppy image for the fullversion (5 floppy disk) and it works perfectly with EasyBootToo many (superfluous) work! by suing the util "RamdiskNT" and "WinImage" you cam create one 8mb supper floppy image, load it with bcdw plugin for CD Shell or load it with bcdw as shell directly.Use the WinImage to open the floppy image, you can see what it is on disk. Nothing else.
