I have tried this way

but i couldnt boot so try it and tell me did it work???

Using nero http://www.ahead.de/

1. Extract the Service Pack

(Start > Run) then type

<b>{drive}:\{mainfoldername}\XP-SP1.EXE -U -X:{drive}:\{mainfoldername}\{SP1_foldername}</b>

2. Apply the Service Pack 1 to the Windows XP

(Start > Run) then type

{drive}:\{mainfoldername}\{SP1_foldername}\UPDATE\UPDATE.EXE -S:{drive}:\{mainfoldername}\{WinXP_foldername}

then run the nero and creat bootable cd

you need to use a boot image extractor to extract the boot image from the xp cd and there are some changes you need to make to the default information when loading that boot image to make the cd bootable

you could use the guide posted in this thread too:

Bootable SP1 Cd Thread
