frustrated1 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 The other day, I tried to download the riva tuner from guru of 3d. What happened next was unreal, it kicked my cpu usage up to 100%, and thats without opening the file. The only way to stop it was to reset, task manager even hung. Then I noticed my broadband connection was slower than dialup, I called my ISP, and he claimed that I was recieving too many packets, even though I was offlline at the time. I unplugged my router. to reset it and everything was fine. Just for testing purposes, I tried another download from Guru of 3d again, same thing! They have something going on that floods packets. I don't want to try to contact them out of fear of burning my modem up.
