I can't seem to access my Apache web server from the internet, but I can from my LAN and localhost. I have a D-Link DI-514 wireless-b router and 3 computers on the lan.

The server with apache on it (192.168.0.102)

The router with IP of (69.169.#.#)

I set the router to DMZ the 192.168.0.102 as I didn't see port forwarding as an option.

I turned off firewall completely.

I can http:/192.168.0.102 from any machine and get the Apache server test page.

I set apache to use 69.169.#.#:80 as server name in httpd.conf

I get on machine #3 and disable the nic card and use dial-up to call the server and it comes up page cannot be displayed. at http://69.169.#.#

I've had several other people try to get on and they also get same error.

can someone please help. I've searched the internet for 2 days now and find people with the same problem and no one seems to have an answer. although a few people said they figured it out but didn't tell how.

I have Apache 2.0.52

Router is D-Link DI-514

Windows XP Pro SP2

Adelphia Cable serve with D-Link DCM-200 cable modem.

I also have installed Fedora Core 2 - Linux with same problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem fixed.

It turns out Adelphia and most other cable ISPs block port 80. had to go into Apache and tell it to use port 801 instead and told the router to forward port 801 , and I also told the firewall to allow port 801 through and all works fine.
