Audigy Unattended Drivers

Hi, I have done a search but I can't quite find what I'm after... I was wondering what exactly are the _REQUIRED_ files to install an audigy card via the OEM Preinstall. I _DON'T_ want to install the control panel or any extra languages besides english. Basically the method I've found by reading various posts end up with a folder size of about 42MBs and that is just too much. I just want the drivers and nothing else for windows xp.

thx in advance.

Soon you can download the newest version of DriverPack Sound. That includes the drivers for the Creative Audigy. The installation of the control panel is optional, so I think that would be ideal for you!

cool, thank you. so the drivers are stripped down to only the needed files for the card to function? about how large is that file group?

45.9 MB... :D

But I can stripe it down:

This is what the wdm_emu.inf file says:

[SourceDisksFiles]
a3d.dll=55,Common
commonfx.dll=55,Common
ctaudfx.dll=55,Common
ctsblfx.dll=55,Common

SBLive.ico=55,Win2K_XP
Live.bmp=55,Win2K_XP
SBAudigy.ico=55,Win2K_XP

[file=??, folder]

So these are the files you actually need! This should save alot of space IMO.
