Did anyone successfully install Pinnacle PCTV drivers and app?

I get no sound, and get no driver (!) on device manager for soundcontroller.

This works with the pctv550 web install package.

Download the latest driver/app package from Pinnacle. Extract all files from the .exe file with winrar.

Drivers:

Copy the Drivers folder to $OEM$\$1\ and rename folder to whatever you want.

Add foldername to OemPnpDriversPath in winnt.sif.

App:

Move the extracted files to where you install your software from. All files and folders must be identical as it is inside the package.

The installer is an Installshield installer. Make the installer write a logfile using -f2 switch to your harddrive to help you find any error that may occur.

Extract PinnaclePCTVUpdate550.exe to folder PinnaclePCTVUpdate550

Copy VisionID.dll from working Pro version or download from internet and after install all formats for video recording are available.

pinnacle pctv apps sucks, i know what i'm talking about i own 1

better try a program called "DScaler", also it doesn't need drivers to run. more resolution and smaller load time. FREE.
