Every time you download a file or something NAV will usually way that "XYZ program is waiting for Norton to scan abc.qrs file". This window pops up above the system clock. Maybe you can disable the popup try symantec knowlegdbase. http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/nav/nav2004_pro_tasks.html if you don't find what you are looking for you can send an email to symantec support on the web. prathapml Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 Well, that's true pesko, but ceez is referring to a different thing....@ceezThat is the notification that comes up when any compressed file is being scanned by NAV 2004/2005.So just go into the options and disable "Scan inside compressed files" - from the "auto-protect settings".
