jada855
Hey SiMoNsAyS thanx for the reply. I meant is there a way to make one global icon for .exe files. Meaning everytime inside of windows you see and .exe file you will see the assigned icon.
SiMoNsAyS
sorry i didn't understood what you wanted to do i can't help u with that but what i'm sure it's that you'll need to have a look into HKCR\.exe, take HKCR\.txt as an example...
grodzix
A quite old topic, but maybe someone'll find it helpfull. So, u need to change default value of key "HKCR\exefile\DefaultIcon" to location of icon you want (%1 means an icon in *.exe itself).
