Could Use Some Basic Font Help

Now don't laugh at me, but here is my problem.

Here is all my computer tech knowledge: I have windows 98 and I am using print master gold for my card program. That's it!!!

About a month ago I got crazy with downloading different fonts for making cards and doing scrapbooking. I want to get rid of as many fonts that I don't use as I can, but I don't know what ones I definately have to keep in order to run windows, use interenet, etc. and, of course, who remembers what ones I downloaded and what ones came with the programs, and if their safe to delete.

Please don't tell me to change my main font to whatever, because I can really screw up my puter doing basic things. I think I have to keep roman times or something, not sure.

Thank you so much. I knew there was a list somewhere, but couldn't find it. I printed it off and will put it in my book with other important puter things.
