SiMoNsAyS Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 on text-mode setup i recieve this error The next value from the .sif file, that it's used by the installation program it's missing or damaged:Value 0 on the line in section [sourceDiskFiles]with key "SP2.cab"i checked my winnt.sif and my txtsetup.sif and everything it's ok, they are the same that worked on previous installation no nlite shrinkage and i haven't added or removed anything from the previous working xpcd.any1 knows what .sif file the error is referring to?
a06lp Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 is this an ISO? i once had a bad iso image, and the next one was fine...
Alanoll Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 it's in txtsetup.sifdid you check for any random lines with just = or something? Sometimes it could always be a syntax error just before the line in question.....Or for some reason, you mistakenly copied over a SP1 txtsetup.sif file over your SP2. That could happen.....
bonedaddy Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 no nLite shrinkage? you best check that because I had the sameerror with unreleased ver of nLite this morning. As Nuhi said pleasedon't complete install as I did anyway, many bugs..........windows installer (msi not installing) and the sp2 bug to start.
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 @a06lp i have rebuilt the iso many times, not an iso problem...@Alanoll that was what i thought but i can't find any sintax error and i've removed added entries, no luck it's sp2 txtsetup.sif, sure @bonedaddy i've got a backup directory so everytime i use nlite i copy that folder again, it's not problem of nlite (now i'm even sure)i think the easiest solution it's to redo integrate into a clean xp installation, i'll let you know if i find something, thanks every1
