Auto-Install Applications (running into problems)

I would like to have an auto-install of Windows and all my apps. I have been successful with the Windows with SP2 auto-install (with the exception of partitioning) and am trying to include the apps now. I am running into all kinds of problems along the way. I got the Net Framework 1.1 SP1 update to auto-install, but can't seem to get nero63125.exe, or Java's runtime 1.4.2_05 to work yet. These switches are hell!

Ideally I would like to be able to boot to the CD and completely walk away where default apps would install without any intervention, and then clean up my desktop and rename the icons to my specification.

The bottom line is that I would like to have a completely automated "set it and forget it" Auto-Install DVD.

Can anyone give me clearer instructions on the switches I need? Is there ONE list of switches anywhere that gets updated?

Wow, that's a list to sort. Hope you realize that a separate forum is setup for app switches. Have a good search through for your answers.

Sorry, I cannot help. I use scripted installs rather then silent installs.

Good luck

;)
